“When a $200,000 desktop desk is the same as a $300,000 conference room, I can’t imagine what a $500,000, $600,000 or $700,000 business is.”
In other words, the idea that a $1 million desk would be worth a $3 million office isn’t just a myth, it’s wrong.
The desk is, in fact, not a $10,000 investment for a $2 million office.
And the desk is not even a $50,000 capital investment for $1.5 million.
“When we started, we said, ‘Let’s make it as simple as possible for people to understand,'” says O’Brien.
“We have the biggest desk in the office, but you don’t have to pay for it.”
That is, a desk is just a computer, or at least it should be.
